F.I.T. Program: *Farmers In Training (Formerly Farm Day-Camp

Hey Kids!  Did you know...

   It takes 21 days for an egg to hatch?

   A horse can't throw up? 

   A cow has a four chambered stomach?

   A pig can't sweat?

   Goats only have teeth on their bottom  jaw?

There is sooo much to learn on the farm!  We'll be caring for and learning all about the farm animals, planting seeds, riding horses, playing farm games, and so much more... 

we'll be getting dirty and having tons of fun!

  For ages 8-13

Tuesday-Thursday  (3 days)  

9:00am-Noon

*In case of rain, wear mud boots and a raincoat:)

On the last day (Thursday), parents and siblings  are welcome to come at noon and enjoy a complimentary 

farm tour, led by your child until 12:30!

This year we will learn from a Gardening Expert about growing your own food.  A seasoned beekeeper will be teaching about  bees and the importance of  these little pollinators.  And learn some  tool skills on a  hands-on wood project, building a sturdy wooden box to take home and store your treasure in! 

So much learning and so much fun!!
